Editorial Reviews

Review

"This book does have are excellent descriptions of current ideas on the assessment, treatment and management of various musculo-skeletal structures...This book brings together not only a lot of information but has many contributors which make it a lively and stimulating book to read. In addition, it contains extensive referencing with descriptive critical appraisal of the literature which would be useful to practitioners and students alike." 5Acupuncture in manual therapy
By Ns001
I like this book. I am currently studying acupuncture and work as a physiotherapist. What this book does so well is give you a reasoned approach to how acupuncture might complement manual therapy. It is easy to understand and the case studies clinically reason through the use of both manual therapy and acupuncture for certain conditions. It has helped me in the treatment of my patients and developed my clinical reasoning. Well worth a buy.

5Fantastic looking book
By Mrs. E. A. Scott
Advised to get this prior to attending an acupuncture for pain relief course in March and April this year.
I have to say that elements of acupuncture are now clear to me as an AHP which I am grateful for prior to attending the course.
Looks to be well worth the money in view of rationale behind treatment choices.
