Clear and concise guide to facial acupuncture
A clear and concise guide on how to proceed with facial revitalisation acupuncture in the treatment room. This book states it is not meant as a substitute for practical teaching on a real patient but will be a good reference source for me, I feel. The points used, the equipment needed and the rationale behind all the face and neck points are clearly explained. In a few places the anatomical location of extra points on the face could have been a bit clearer but the diagrams helped out when words were lacking. I felt there was a bit too much detail on acupuncture anaesthesia and analgesia but it did me no harm to read about these topics. The references and bibliography were comprehensive and I liked the blank pages for my own notes at the end of the book. Beginning each facial treatment with an Agressive Energy drain was reassuring for me as I have learned only Five Element acupuncture not TCM. A good book if you want to branch into this sort of work but it is not directed at the patient or potential patient.

Little Gem of a book
What great little book, I am just starting a new business in Spain..specializing in facial rejuvenation acupuncture.. and whilst this is something any trained acupuncturist can perform... i thought i would just have a look at what other people where doing out there and found this little gem, thank you so much to the author for putting it all down on paper in an easy to read format....this book does exactly what it says it does on the cover it gives you:"Cosmetic acupuncture in ten steps"
