Product Description

A combination of fitness, firmness and strength in a step-by-step guide, which slips effortlessly into everyday life. Fed up with step-aerobics and feeling the burn? Do you wish for a world outside multi-purpose gyms? The Supple Body presents an exercise philosophy leading to fitness, firmness and strength without the sweat and the pain that we are often told are necessary for a healthy body. The book includes exercises that target specific areas of the body. Some of these areas, like the back, are familiar trouble spots for which the right exercise can prevent discomfort. Others, like the face, lend themselves to rejuvenation techniques, by gently working the muscles. All the exercises and the accompanying relaxation methods, lead to awareness and control of the entire body.

5clear, simple exercises that work
By A customer
As well as targeted exercises, there are also 10, 20 and 30 minute routines that work the whole body and leave me feeling very relaxed. Highly recommended if you want to increase flexibility or recover from stress. Pictures and description very easy to follow.

5Great for Relaxation
By A. J. Pope
This book contains great photographs illustrating each stretch and position well and the exercises and routines are good for relaxation and are easy to fit into your day. I use exercises from this book to wake up, chill out and refreshers to longer sports specific flexibility sessions. This book is recommended for anyone looking to improve their general feeling or wellbeing through stretching and for people looking to improve their general fitness and conditioning. For athletes I would recommend this alongside the The Anatomy of Stretching by Bradley Walker which I have found better for sports specific and conditioning sessions.

By alymross@ross1.fsbusiness.co.uk
Excellent for relaxation and if done first thing in the morning it helps wake your body. Puts a big smile on your face for the rest of the day. It has excercises which target specific problem areas and it also has a set of routines which can be fitted into any busy persons schedule.
