Practitioner Description:
Having spent 20+years as a nurse and midwife, both in hospitals and in the community, I observed many areas where simply there was a gap in the assistance and healing that people needed. After 12 years of ill health with M.E., during which I gained a great deal of benefit from both general medical care and complimentary health, it became more obvious that there is a place for both in this world. I have been fortunate to be aided into recovery with Reiki and given the opportunity to be attuned to allow me to spread the care and love it brings with it further still. I am now setting up in practice, as a Reiki practitioner to offer others the opportunity to benefit from this holistic and non invasive gentle form of care. I am mobile and travel to your own home or place of work and provide a professional and confidential practice. I also recognised in the past few years a great deal of the stresses that I felt and observed had built up through life's experiences and were a big part of how I was feeling about myself. I then heard about E.F.T. (emotional freedom technique) which simply put into words what I had been feeling was a need. Training in the subject confirmed my belief and I discovered from a great deal of research and practice that their is virtually no limit to what it can be applied to. From fears, panic attacks, to improving your sports performance, your sales techniques etc. Thus my practice grew another arm which I offer to anyone who might like to try - you are in control, sometimes you need to face your difficulties, sometimes the therapy works without - but almost all benefit in many more ways than they start of imagining.
