Practitioner Description:
I am a Registered UK Healer with a number of years experience. I have also been working as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser for many years. For most of my twenties I was a contemplative Benedictine monk. So I feel that I bring a broad range of life skills to my healing practice.
A few words about “energy healing”. Many modern scientists agree that the basis of all life in the universe is what we call “energy”. Energy can be transmitted not just by what we recognize with our senses as the physical but also by the power of thought and intention - like radios work by sound waves that we cannot see or feel.
We become ill in whatever way (physical, emotional, mental) when we are “out of balance” or out of sync with what is our optimal state of being. The positive healing energy accessed in energy healing works to redress the balance and put us back in sync.
The restored balance might be expressed in an enhanced sense of peacefulness and less stress, in a positive acceptance of what is, in new insights into your life’s direction, in release of physical tension, and in relief from physical illness.
I should stress that energy healing is not an alternative to conventional medicine and appropriate medical advice should be sought where applicable. It is complementary to conventional medicine and also relies on the patient’s commitment to the healing process and dedication to change. Also it in no way relies on what we regard as “religious belief”.
