The Alexander technique is great, but takes a lot of time and effort. Keeping your body parts properly aligned while moving isn't always possible though.
Has anyone had noticeable success using this method? |

This is a bit new. Has anyone tried this? How do you actually keep your body parts aligned while moving? That would be near impossible for me! |

| Someone asked what this is. The Alexander Technique is a method for improving your natural poise and posture in everything you do. It works by promoting your awareness of your body in movement so you can identify and prevent harmful postural habits that maybe the cause of stress and pain. Learn to use it (taking lessons) and you will improve your overall functioning, health and wellbeing in the long term. It has transformed the quality of my life, and I love teaching it. |

| Is this the same as the feldenkrais method? I know someone that teaches this and it sounds quite similar. |

I don't know if it is like the feldenkrais method but it is equivalent to your mother telling you toe "stand up straight, stop slouching...." things like that. You start telling yourself these things.
It might be helpful for athletes and dancers, but I wouldn't spend any money on it! |
