Practitioner Description:
Testimonial: 'Having been a young international sportsman, (rowing and rugby) ?. my career was cut short by injuries to my back and knee. I had the standard NHS treatments for years but the problems kept recurring. After having been battered over the years, one of my best friends, who had tried everything before that had failed, recommended Deeksha, whose treatment seems to do something that?s a little bit more.....Deeksha is charming and highly professional and what she does is phenomenal and how do you convey that?'
I do a full musculo-skeletal, postural and lifestyle assessment, provide stretching regimes and support to clients. Pain occurs when the body's adaptive capacity is exhausted/compromised and is a signal to stop and take stock. I try and empower clients with information to enable them to put corrective measures in place: health is about maintenance, not cure.
The treatment I provide is unique, gentle, holistic and effective and is suitable for people of all ages. I work with, rather than against, the body and create individual treatment plans commensurate with the clients' needs. I seek an initial committment of 3 treatments and then assess future requirements with the client. My aim is to give control of health back to the client.
