Practitioner Description:
Caroline is an experienced physical therapist and Certified Hellerwork Practitioner who has held a busy central London practice for a number of years. She is a member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners and is also the Treasurer for the European Hellerwork Association.
It is a requirement for the Hellerwork certification that practitioners continue with ongoing study every year, and Caroline is committed to increasing her knowledge and understanding of the body, towards constantly enhancing the quality of her work.
Caroline works skillfully with tensions, restrictions and pains in the body that have been brought about by injuries, bad habits, illnesses, stress and posture.
Caroline’s bodywork approach is holistic. Whilst her massage is precisely attuned to the needs of the individual, she also attends to habitual movement and posture patterns; breath capacity; awareness education and the body-mind connection.
Using bodywork techniques such as Connective Tissue and Deep Tissue Massage, Soft Tissue Manipulation, Trigger Point Work and Hellerwork, Caroline encourages the body toward better balance, enhanced posture, liberation from pain and ease of movement.
