Tom first discovered shiatsu when he received very effective treatment for a back injury as a teenager. He has also found it enormously helpful in managing his asthma and so reducing his dependence on prescribed drugs. Years later, his practice of Oriental martial arts revived his interest in shiatsu, and led him to take the three-year Professional Practitioner Diploma at the European Shiatsu School. Tom is a dedicated and skilled shiatsu practitioner based in Borough Market near London Bridge, at movingartsbase in Islington and in Golders Green.
